The first noticeable change is a dashboard full of screens, with a standalone curved instrument display for the driver, and screens for infotainment both in the middle and on the passenger side. In addition, a new steering wheel for the Cayenne matches the latest Porsche 911. Porsche also relocated the gear selector in the new Cayenne, bringing it to the dashboard to the right of the steering wheel. This position is not only convenient, but it allows for increased space in the center console for an in-depth air conditioning control center.
