The F1 driver adds Aston Martin’s F1-inspired hypercar to his collection.
Along with the daily thrills of racing at high speeds around the globe, there are some sweet perks of being a professional Formula 1 driver, especially as part of the Aston Martin Aramco F1 team. For World Drivers’ Champion Fernando Alonso, those perks include an allocation for Aston Martin’s $3 million Valkyrie.
Fernando Alonso recently took the streets of Monaco by storm, driving his custom hypercar, which is truly an F1 car for the road. His one-of-a-kind Valkyrie was designed in collaboration with Aston Martin’s bespoke service, Q by Aston Martin. Inspired by Fernando’s AMR24 Formula One race car, the livery features a Satin Aston Martin Racing Green finish, highlighted with AMR Satin Lime Graphics and Speed Red accents. The interior features exposed carbon fiber and Pure Black Alcantara, all complemented by Alonso’s signature logo embroidered in AMR Lime on the headrests.
Under the hood, the Valkyrie is powered by a hybrid 6.5L V12 powertrain capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in under 2.5 seconds. With over 1,160 horsepower, it’s one of the most powerful road-legal cars ever made, combining F1 aerodynamics and performance with bespoke craftsmanship. The Valkyrie’s exclusivity is hand-built by a team of skilled technicians at Aston Martin’s UK headquarters, taking over 2000 hours to complete. Alonso’s personalized Valkyrie showcases how the Q by Aston Martin service allows customers to transform their dreams into reality, creating a truly one-of-a-kind driving experience.
