Aston Martin will bring hypercar excellence to next year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Along with its incredible lineup of British luxury performance cars, Aston Martin boasts a formidable presence in the world of motorsport. It engages in GT racing and Formula 1 and even uses its celebrated models as F1 safety cars. However, its presence at one of the world’s most challenging and historic racing stages, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, will be much bigger next year.
In 2025, Aston Martin will enter two Valkyrie AMR-LMH hypercars into the FIA World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, marking Aston Martin’s first attempt to win the historic endurance challenge outright for the first time since 1959. With a modified version of the hypercar’s 6.5-liter Cosworth V12 engine that revs up to 11,000 rpm and over 1,000 horsepower, the racing-spec Aston Martin Valkyrie will enter the Hypercar class of the World Endurance Championship and vie for complete domination in the contentious 24 Hours of Le Mans race.
With over 100 years of history as a manufacturer, Aston Martin has placed great importance on its longstanding racing pedigree, creating a legacy for the brand and influencing many of its roadgoing models. While the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans is ready to begin, anticipation continues to build for next year’s race, where Aston Martin will be putting its best foot forward with two Valkyrie AMR-LMH cars for the total win.
