BMW M GmbH recently announced their sales for 2020, which saw a 6% increase from the previous year. Within that announcement of great sales was one little fact that cannot be overlooked. That fact is that there will be an electric BMW M sports car unveiled in 2021. The exact wording of the announcement from BMW M’s CEO, Markus Flasch, is as follows: “During the year 2021, the BMW M GmbH will be presenting an electrically powered performance automobile for the first time.” One fact that we don’t know that will be the biggest bit of news is which model will get the M treatment. I can assume that it will be the BMW Concept i4 as it’s already sporty and boasts 530 horsepower, but that’s just a guess. Be sure to stay with us for more information as it’s released.
