Cadillac has opened the next chapter in its electrification journey.
Cadillac has revealed an ever-growing lineup of electric vehicles, transforming its identity as a historic luxury car manufacturer towards embracing cutting-edge EV technology and leading the charge has been the LYRIQ, the CELESTIQ, an ultra-luxe halo car with sights set on transforming Cadillac’s brand identity, and the Escalade IQ, the all-electric transformation of Cadillac’s historic luxury SUV. Even more new all-electric Cadillac models have been announced, and the new 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ is the latest to be revealed.
Next year, the VISTIQ will also join the lineup, but now the 2025 OPTIQ serves as Cadillac’s new entry-level electric vehicle. Launching globally, the new Cadillac OPTIQ will feature standard dual-motor all-wheel drive, an estimated 300 horsepower and 354 lb/ft of torque, and an estimated 300 miles of range.
Cadillac’s futuristic luxury manifests in a fixed-glass roof, a window design featuring a precision pattern, and choreographed lighting. The interior is also full of high-tech luxury, with a 33-inch screen, radar, camera, ultrasonic sensor tech, Super Cruise, and a 19-speaker AKG audio system. Two trim levels are offered for the OPTIQ: Luxury and Sport. The starting MSRP of Cadillac’s new entry-level electric vehicle is $54,000. Production of the new model is set to begin this fall.
