From the ultra-rare Daytona SP3 to the legendary LaFerrari, Steven’s love for V12s shows.
When it comes to Steven Victor’s passion for Ferrari V12s, it’s better described as a full-blown obsession. In an interview with Ferrari Magazine, the 42-year-old music executive revealed that his love for the iconic V12 engine is at the heart of his insane supercar and hypercar collection. Victor’s garage currently houses six V12 Ferraris, and his home design reflects that fuel-driven passion. He’s constructing a new house, designed so that every room overlooks one of his beloved Ferraris. His connection to Ferrari runs so deep that he even named his son after the V12 engine, calling him “V” at home.
Steven credits his friend Pharrell Williams for not only inspiring the name “V,” but also for igniting his passion with the V12 engine. After seeing Pharrell’s black Enzo at a video shoot, Victor was instantly hooked. Since then, his collection has grown, and Ferrari has become a family affair in the Victor household. His wife, Christine, also shares his enthusiasm, especially for the Ferrari Cavalcade events, while their middle child, Victor, is already following in his father’s footsteps, identifying models like the LaFerrari at just three years old.
For Steven Victor, driving a Ferrari V12 is an emotional experience, very much so like hearing a hit record for the first time. The sound and feeling of the iconic engine configuration create a connection that he compares to his time in the recording studio when everything falls into place.
