Since 1963, Lamborghini has been producing some of the world’s most exclusive and powerful supercars, cementing its legacy as an Italian automotive icon. Its commitment to using only the finest materials and craftsmanship reflects its love for its home country and its dedication to Italian automotive engineering. As the Emilia-Romagna region continues to respond to the devastating natural disaster, Lamborghini is proud to show its support by joining the “Un aluto per l’Elimia-Romagna” fundraiser with a 1 million euro donation.
The funds will be donated, with the coordination of local authorities, to support affected communities, with a special focus on environmental recovery projects due to hydrogeological instability. In addition to the donation, Lamborghini made the decision to cancel its 60th-anniversary celebration events in light of the current circumstances. Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann shows his support by saying, “We were almost ready to start the 60th anniversary celebrations but we could not ignore this tragedy: it touches us closely because it directly affects the families of some of our colleagues and the region that our company calls home.”
