Maserati shows off the MCPURA’s driving prowess amongst Italy’s natural beauty.
Succeeding the MC20 that revolutionized the historic brand, Maserati’s MCPURA is a combination of compelling performance, racing-inspired engineering, signature Italian luxury, and Maserati’s celebrated reputation for gorgeous design. The MCPURA, and the MC20 before it, also have the distinction of succeeding the MC12, Maserati’s legendary supercar that is one of the most iconic, exclusive, and cherished collector-grade masterpieces of the 2000s.
After it’s been launched, invited guests to an exclusive Driving Experience in Italy got the chance to drive the MCPURA and see what the new Maserati supercar has to offer for themselves, and it was against the spectacular backdrop of Versilia, including the iconic Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta, and the Carrara Marble Quarries.
With 630 horsepower now on tap from the twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 engine, the Maserati MCPURA delivered an exciting driving and sound experience in the beautiful Italian landscapes, with a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio of 2.33 kg/hp. In addition, the Cielo open-top variant boasts the best of both worlds when it comes to coupes and convertibles, with incredible flexibility, including an electrochromic glass roof that is also retractable to let the air in.
Maserati’s Fuoriserie customization program shines beautifully on the MCPURA, with the car being launched with a unique AI Acqua Rainbow color that shifts in the light, shown in matte on the coupe, and in a glossy finish on the Cielo. Devil Orange and Night Interaction are other unique shades available, as well as a broad palette of other stunning finishes, along with stunning details inside and out of the vehicle, embodying Italian bespoke artisan craftsmanship. With a driving experience taking place in some of Italy’s most beautiful landscapes, the Maserati MCPURA has proven itself as a statement of supercar excellence.
