As a driver for the Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team in the NTT INDYCAR series, Pato O’Ward has had an amazing racing career, having moved to France in 2014 to compete in F4, and coming back to the United States to begin his Indy career. Currently running second in the championship, his performance and dedication to the sport is truly admirable, and it’s those qualities that gave him access to the iconic stage of the Indy 500 race, which is taking place very soon in Indianapolis.
A new film, produced by The Outbound Life, a production company led by brother duo Kody and Kyler McCormick, called “The Challenger Spirit,” follows Pato O’Ward’s lifestyle showing scenes that highlight his passion and drive for racing, and his love for cars. One specific highlight is that the film shows him behind the wheel of the powerful and light McLaren 765LT Spider. As McLaren’s latest “longtail” car, it carries heritage dating back to the 1997 McLaren F1 GTR, featuring improved aerodynamics, exclusivity, and high power, with 755 horsepower and 590 lb/ft of torque. Through this film, fans will get to know McLaren’s racing driver better, and get to witness the thrills of one of its greatest supercars.
