Hot Lab, part of the Viken Group, has unveiled the interior details of the highly anticipated 50-meter (164-feet) Bilgin 163 superyacht, Eternal Spark. Designed for Bilgin Yachts in Turkey, the yacht is set to be launched this summer and will make its industry debut at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show.
The sale of Eternal Spark was completed in 2022, facilitated by Matija Longin from SuperYachts Croatia and Berkay Yilmaz, Commercial Director of Bilgin Yachts. With exterior design by Unique Yacht Design and interior design by Hot Lab, the superyacht combines luxurious styling with spacious living areas, surpassing its contemporaries in terms of exterior space.
Noteworthy is the use of natural light throughout the vessel. The staircase on Eternal Spark allows light from the sundeck to flow down to the lower deck, with strategically placed mirrored strips amplifying the effect. Enrico Lumini, Partner and Head of Design at Hot Lab, emphasized the beautiful reflections created by incorporating a skylight and using thin mirrors on the floating staircase.
Eternal Spark accommodates guests in six spacious staterooms, each featuring a variety of natural finishes, including different marbles. The interior design aims for a fresh, sunny atmosphere without overwhelming colors. The superyacht also boasts four decks, five bars, seven socializing areas, and ample storage space for water toys. Other notable features include a sunken-level beach club, gymnasium, sauna, and an indoor/outdoor cinema.
Powered by twin 1,450 CAT engines, the Bilgin 163 Eternal Spark achieves a top speed of 16.5 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots, and a range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles. Antonio Romano, Commercial Director of the Viken Group, expressed excitement about the yacht’s debut, showcasing their philosophy of “Architecture for Voyagers” and highlighting their commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Hot Lab’s successful collaboration with Bilgin Yachts reinforces their strong presence in Turkey, with a total of 16 ongoing projects, including six superyachts set for delivery in 2023.
