Those who remember the iconic HUMMER brand of the 90s and 2000s found it quite a dramatic departure from the norm when it was revived in the form of the new GMC HUMMER EV, an incredibly powerful electric supertruck and SUV that brings the polarizing HUMMER legend into the future. With the Edition 1 version of the GMC HUMMER EV pickup being the world’s introduction to this incredibly-changed HUMMER, GMC is now debuting the 3X trim for both the pickup and SUV for the 2024 model year, allowing for even greater customization with the same incredible features as the Edition 1, like 4-Wheel steer, CrabWalk, and Watts to Freedom.

The 3X trim of the GMC HUMMER EV pickup comes standard with 22-inch wheels, and GM estimates a driving range of up to 355 miles. In addition it features the available Extreme Off-Road package, with underbody cameras, extra skid plates and protection, as well as 18-inch wheels on 35-inch tires. With the Extreme Off-Road package, GM estimates the same 329 miles of range as the Edition 1. However, GM says that reservations are currently full for both the GMC HUMMER EV pickup and the SUV, which means that if you want to experience the 830 horsepower and incredible 11,500 lb/ft of torque that the tri-motor electric all-wheel drive system has to offer, you’ll have to wait.
