Porsche has once again made an indelible mark in the automotive world with the world premiere of their concept car, the Porsche Vision 357 Speedster, at the 30th anniversary of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The new addition is an all-electric sequel to the Porsche Vision 357 coupe, designed as a tribute to the iconic Porsche 356, but powered by the technology from the 718 GT4 e-Performance.

The car’s powertrain borrows from the technology of the Porsche 718 GT4 e-performance, featuring advanced electric motors and battery technology derived from the Mission R. The Vision 357 Speedster seeks to characterize the future of top-notch driving dynamics and sustainability, which were once not aspects that were typically combined in the past, but are now coming together in a new chapter of electrified performance.
The Vision 357 Speedster pays homage to its forebears with a shortened front windshield typical of a speedster, along with a one-sided tonneau cover.
