Polestar helps introduce London to SXSW.
While the festival is known for its location of Austin, Texas, South by Southwest is coming to London, and the inaugural London SXSW event is taking place from June 2 through June 7. Stretching across 25 venues in Shoreditch, the London version of SXSW seeks to recreate the magic of the Texas event, bringing together innovators and creatives in a meeting of minds from all over the world.
Serving as the official exclusive car partner of the new event, Polestar is bringing its innovative vehicles to SWSW London, participating in the event in creative and unique ways beyond simply displaying its lineup. At the center of Polestar’s presence at the upcoming London SXSW festival is the Polestar 4, the latest model to be added to Polestar’s growing lineup of electric luxury cars, a performance-oriented luxury SUV coupe.
Placed in Ely’s Yard, the car is set to be on display for SXSW London visitors, and Polestar’s name and participation are part of the event’s Polestar Performance Stage. One of the most interesting aspects of the stage is that artists will be filmed through the roof-mounted camera of the car. To help build anticipation for the event, Polestar is hiding scale models of its cars throughout London, which if found will give their discoverers access to Platinum tickets to the festival, offering the inaugural SXSW London’s ultimate experience. With Polestar at its side, the first SXSW London is set to be a unique experience.
