Sean Wotherspoon is back for another incredible Porsche creation.
Alongside perfecting performance for both the road and track through its lineup of sports cars and SUVs, Porsche is also renowned for its focus on personalization and delivering dream cars to its owners worldwide. With Porsche’s Paint-to-Sample program, customers are given an infinite color palette that features everything from vibrant historic hues to one-of-one shades developed in-house. One person who knows all about PTS is design and streetwear aficionado Sean Wotherspoon, who has previously worked with Porsche on colorful projects like his Taycan 4 Cross Turismo Art Car. Wotherspoon is making waves in the Porsche community after recently taking to Instagram to reveal a very special Porsche 911 Dakar.
Configured in collaboration with Ferdinand Ahorner (@ferdinand_ahorner), Sean Wotherspoon debuted the brand-new, off-road-inspired 911 in a shade specially made only for his Taycan Art Car. Shying away from any of the other endless options from Porsche’s color palette, the 911 Dakar features Sean’s “Nashy Blue” paint color. Both Sean and Ferry spent countless hours meticulously configuring the Dakar, from contrast stitching to the choice of a gloss white wheel color, and everything in between. Inside, the cabin features a clean white leather base with a pop of color and heritage from the black and blue houndstooth inserts.
Viewed truly as a one-of-one Porsche 911 Dakar, Sean Wotherspoon expressed his gratitude and love for the Porsche brand by saying, ” Such an absolute honor, I can’t wait for Nash to see it in person!
