The long-awaited Porsche Studio in the United States celebrated its grand opening in Portland, Oregon, recently. As Executive Vice President and COO of Porsche Cars North America (PCNA), Joe Lawrence said, the studio aims to offer customers a relaxed, immersive, and convenient interaction with the Porsche brand. From dream car configuration to simply enjoying a casual espresso, the Porsche Studio provides a new and exclusive way to engage with Porsche in Portland’s trendy Pearl District.
Set within the vibrant cultural hub, known for its art galleries, microbreweries, and the famed Powell City of Books, Porsche Studio Portland covers a 12,920 sqft area over two floors. This boutique-like studio offers guests an intimate understanding of Porsche’s rich heritage and future direction. Visitors can explore a rotating selection of vehicles and enjoy regional cuisine and beverages, including locally roasted artisan coffee while appreciating local art.
The Porsche Studio also serves as a drop-off and pick-up location for service at Porsche Beaverton. Offering courtesy vehicles and rideshare transportation options, as well as test drives, the studio aims to enhance customers’ overall Porsche experience. The grand opening saw an exclusive performance by legendary rock band Foreigner, attracting around a thousand guests.
In celebration, a restored 2003 911 Targa, part of last year’s Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge, was auctioned for $61,000. The proceeds from the auction will benefit the Dougy Center, a local nonprofit supporting grieving families. This innovative concept by Porsche has big plans for the future, including hosting community events like yoga days and wellness weeks, adding a unique twist to the Porsche enthusiast experience.
