Porsche’s new electric hero takes to the track.
Porsche boasts over 75 years of history as a manufacturer of some of the most desirable luxury performance vehicles on the market, and when it introduced the Taycan, its first all-electric model, the legendary brand showed an incredible ability to translate thrilling performance and timeless driving pleasure to the electrified future. Now, it’s done that again, and this time with its iconic SUV model, the Macan, which has seen the introduction of a new electric version aptly dubbed the Porsche Macan Electric.
With a variety of trim levels showcasing practicality, power, performance and versatility, the new Porsche Macan Electric is an exciting new chapter in Porsche’s journey toward electrification, and one that is now available for visitors of Porsche Experience Centers to familiarize themselves with in the flesh. Porsche Cars North America’s Porsche Experience Centers in Los Angeles, California and Atlanta, Georgia, will be home to new Drive Experiences, featuring the electric and combustion-powered versions of the Porsche Macan.
The three new experiences showcase the Macan Electric, the Macan Turbo Electric, and a comparison between the Macan Turbo Electric and the Macan GTS. A 90-minute program sees drivers go through a safety orientation with a Porsche Drive Instructor, and then take to the course to try various driver development modules on the PECs’ various track facilities. Combining driving education and thrill with the innovation of Porsche’s newest EV, the new Porsche Macan Electric is the star of Porsche’s latest Porsche Experience Center activities.
