The story of one of today’s greatest hypercars began 15 years ago.
In 2009, Mate Rimac decided to found Rimac Automobili despite being told that a car manufacturer based in Croatia would likely be unsuccessful. Two years later, in 2011, his converted all-electric BMW, based on the ‘80s 3 Series, started setting world records. After that, Rimac unveiled an all-electric hypercar. The Rimac Nevera is one of the world’s most desirable, powerful, and game-changing electric vehicles with incredible performance, exclusivity, and engineering.
To celebrate the incredible story of Rimac Automobili that began 15 years ago, Rimac has revealed a new limited edition of the Nevera hypercar: the Rimac Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition. As a nod to the manufacturer’s 2009 founding year, only nine examples of the hypercar will be built, and the first example is finished in a new, exclusive copper shade made expressly for the Anniversary Edition.
Exposed carbon fiber contrasts the beautiful bespoke shade, and 15th anniversary badging, along with exclusive graphics, adds head-turning visual interest. Inside, the copper color is continued with anodized switchgear and copper-painted surfaces, with ‘2009-2024’ script, ‘15’ embossing, and other commemorative touches setting it apart.
The Rimac Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition costs over $2,500,000, and it comes with bespoke luggage made to fit and match the interior. The first customer car, finished in the exclusive copper hue, will make its public and dynamic debut at this year’s highly anticipated Goodwood Festival of Speed, taking on the same hillclimb at which the Rimac Nevera Time Attack Edition set the production car record with its 49.32-second time.
With an incredible presence in the automotive world and one of the most innovative, world-changing all-electric hypercars to its name, Rimac Automobili is shaping automotive history with its discoveries in electrification, and the new, exclusive Rimac Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition is a celebration of what the manufacturer has achieved in only a decade and a half.
