IWC Schaffhausen incorporates new design and movement technology into its vast line of luxury timepieces, continuing to push the boundaries of watchmaking. The Swiss watch brand is proud to announce two new Pilot’s Watch models featuring an all-black tactical design. The two models part of the redesign is the Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN and Pilot’s Watch Timezoner TOP GUN. The most unique aspect of the new release is the use of IWC’s state-of-the-art Ceratanium, a material based on titanium alloy and ceramics that provides a lightweight feel for each case design.
The IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN is presented as a 46.2mm design with displays for the date, day, month, year in four digits, and perpetual moon phase for the northern and southern hemisphere. Delivering power to the new Big Pilot’s Watch is the brand’s in-house 52615 automatic self-winding movement, which provides an impressive 7-day power reserve and 60-meter water resistance. The open caseback allows for a closer look at the inner workings of the movement, while the outer portion features numerical engravings to signify the limited-edition release. A lightweight color-matching bracelet completes the aggressive styling of the TOP GUN edition timepiece. The IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN is currently available through an authorized dealer as part of a limited 150-piece release.
The second addition to the IWC Schaffhausen family is the new Pilot’s Watch Timezoner TOP GUN, a 46mm automatic example that features a 24-hour display for its Worldtimer function. For traveling watch enthusiasts, the new Pilot’s Watch Timezoner includes an easy-to-read bezel and dial design crafted from Ceratitanium. Driven by IWC Schaffhausen’s in-house 82760 sled-winding movement, the Timezoner holds a lengthy 60-hour power reserve and 60-meter water resistance. The open caseback beautifully highlights the meticulous craftsmanship of the watchmakers at IWC Schaffhausen and includes engravings to signify the special edition release. As a traveler’s timepiece, IWC fits each model with a comfortable black nylon rubber strap and matching Ceratanium buckle. The new IWC Schaffhausen Pilot’s Watch Timezoner TOP GUN is now available through an authorized dealer as a 500-piece release for $16,500.
