In addition to owning a brand-new version of one of Patek Philippe’s most coveted models, the future buyer will also receive a presentation box laser-etched with “Mr. Sylvester Stallone.” Even at the Grand Master Chime’s already expensive $2M-$3M retail price, Sotheby’s estimates that Sly’s may sell for upwards of $5,000,000.
But it doesn’t stop there. The auction lot also features examples of other popular watches like the Rolex Day-Date 40, Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 5711, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon 50th Anniversary, Piaget Polo Grande, and Cartier Pasha. A handful of classic and modern Panerai models make up most of the collection, a watch brand symbolized by Sylvester Stallone and his roles in action-packed movies.
