The new Ulysse Nardin ‘The Ocean Race’ Diver takes shape as a modern version of the Diver Net concept watch from 2020, embellishing a functional design that can withstand the climate and impact of any environment. The Ocean Race Diver features a 44mm case design crafted from a blend of Nylo (recycled fishing nets), Carbonium, and recycled stainless steel from the automotive/aircraft industry.

The rotating bezel and dial use a stealth-like anthracite finish with green highlights that pay homage to the original concept watch, beautifully displaying Ulysse Nardin’s iconic ‘X’ logo. Delivering power to the new The Ocean Race Diver is Ulysse Nardin’s in-house UN-118 movement, a complication that achieves an impressive 60-hour power reserve while operating under a 300-meter water resistance. The movement is responsible for driving power to its hours, minutes, date, small seconds, and power reserve indicator functions. A transparent backcase presents an up-close view of the movement in action, with The Ocean Race logo proudly etched in the center of its sapphire covering. The outer portion of the matte black case back includes intricate engravings to signify the special release between Ulysse Nardin and The Ocean Race. Keeping sustainability at its forefront, Ulysse Nardin fits each The Ocean Race Diver with a grey and green nylon strap made from recycled fishing nets.
