Celebrate URWERK’s 10th anniversary of the EMC (Electronic Mechanical Control) watch!
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its award-winning EMC watch, URWERK has taken inspiration from the legendary SR-71 Blackbird aircraft for a special edition model. The idea came to life when watch collector Jason Sarkoyan and aeronautics expert Dr. Roman Sperl visited URWERK in 2020, bringing their passion for fine mechanics and aviation. Three years later, the EMC SR-71 was born as a watch that merged elements of the SR-71 Blackbird with URWERK’s innovative style. Limited to just ten pieces, URWERK’S newest release is a nod to both aviation history and its knack for pushing the boundaries of traditional watchmaking.
The EMC SR-71 features titanium from the SR-71’s fuselage, adding a piece of aviation to the watch itself. Inspired by the aircraft’s cockpit, the dial includes four distinct displays, with a seconds indicator shaped like a stealth aircraft. The layout is designed to give owners a unique experience, with performance and power reserve indicators cleverly integrated into the watch. Beneath the sapphire crystal case back, URWERK’s in-house movement is on display. Tested over 30 days, the EMC SR-71 provides top-notch accuracy, reflecting URWERK’s dedication to high standards. Whether you’re into watches or planes, the EMC SR-71 brings a bit of both worlds to your wrist. View all luxury watches for sale on duPont REGISTRY by clicking the link below.
