The CEO of Volkswagen Group, Martin Winterkorn, confirmed additional information on the Bugatti Veyron’s successor to Bild.de in an article published June 27.
According to Bild, the new Bugatti will be powered by a hybrid power train, a first for the automaker. Additionally, Winterkorn also confirmed that the new hypercar will create upwards of 1,500 hp, pushing it well over the Veyron’s power output.

We have reportedly seen the Bugatti Chiron, the model name the Veyron successor has been given, on the road in a mule form. Unfortunately, solid information about name, engine or body style is unknown, but we expect this information to come to light in the near future.
