Today, the Ferrari brand continues to innovate and push the boundaries of supercar development with advanced technologies such as hybrid powertrains and autonomous driving features. Already establishing success in the EV sector with the LaFerrari hypercar, Ferrari made battery-assisted supercars a norm with the SF90 Stradale. Automotive YouTuber Varryx took a trip to Ferrari’s factory to catch a glimpse of the newest addition to the SF90 lineup. Wrapped in camouflage with extra aerodynamic components, Varryx documents the first look at the upcoming Ferrari SF90 VS.
The test mule is codenamed F173VS and is meant to be the most extreme version of the SF90, with VS standing for Versione Speciale. Although we do not know much about the stats, performance, or release date, the video of the SF90 VS reveals the same exposed hood duct on the 488 Pista. In the past, the Speciale versions of Ferraris went on to become some of the most desirable and collectible examples to come from its engineers.
