Always in pursuit of the next rare and collectible car with a backstory, the supercar and hypercar historians at CURATED of Miami, FL have come across some of the world’s most spectacular automotive examples. After securing museum-grade specs like the $3.6M 1991 Lotec C1000 and Wolf of Wall Street Lamborghini Countach, the team is back to work with the announcement of an incredibly special Koenigsegg. CURATED took to Instagram to introduce this immaculate Koenigsegg CCXR to its passionate customers, fans, and followers. The coveted CCXR first made its debut in 2007 as the world’s first “green” supercar, equipped with a powertrain from Koenigsegg that utilized a state-of-the-art flex-fuel sensor that allowed the use of different fuel types.
Of only 11 configurations ever produced, this Koenigsegg CCXR stands out as only 1-of-3 in the U.S., sporting a menacing black finish to accentuate its low-profile body design. A modest black and white Alcantara interior adds a sense of refinement and elegance, while its driver-focused layout reminds us why it’s a track weapon for the Koenigsegg brand. This particular CCXR spec gains even more notoriety as its 4.7L twin-supercharged V8 engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, of which only two were ever produced by Koenigsegg. Showcased as a true unicorn in the automotive world, the Koenigsegg CCXR now remains part of CURATED’s incredibly impressive portfolio of supercars and hypercars.
