Showing off the most beautiful and innovative pursuits in design of all kinds, Milan Design Week sits at the intersection of art and science. In a similar way, the new Maserati GranTurismo isn’t just one of the most beautiful grand touring coupes in the automotive world, but it also features incredible performance and engineering, with power coming from either the Nettuno V6 engine from Maserati or the Folgore version’s immensely-powerful electric powertrain. In addition, features like the ECONYL interior upholstery also show a high degree of innovation and futurism.
To celebrate Milan Design Week, Maserati showed off various one-off GranTurismos customized by Maserati’s Fuoriserie program like the multicolor GranTurismo Prisma, as well as the GranTurismo Luce. However, in addition to those as well as the GranTurismo Launch Edition PrimaSerie 75th Anniversary, Maserati also showed off the GranTurismo One Off Ouroboros, a collaboration between Maserati and Hiroshi Fujiwara. Known for his Fragment brand, Fujiwara’s newest project with Maserati is a continuation of the partnership between the two.
The virtual car combines design elements from various cars from different periods in Maserati’s history, based on the all-electric Folgore version of the car. With it comes a collaborative collection, available from summer 2023 on Maserati.com and at select Maserati showrooms, featuring various clothing in black and white, as well as various accessories and decor. This incredible historically-inspired collaboration celebrates the past and looks forward to the new GranTurismo’s bright future.
