James Glickenhaus Unveils the Retro SCG006

We literally bumped into Mr. Glickenhaus at the Amelia Island Concours this year. He told us something new was in the works. We figured it would be an evolution of his SCG003, but this one took us by surprise. Uploaded to Facebook this morning are the first renderings of the SCG006. This retro ride will have a carbon fiber body with the Corvette Z06's supercharged V8.

His team at Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus never does anything arbitrary. Every inch of this car is modeled and tested in a virtual world before the first part is made. At first glance, we see strong Ferrari and Pininfarina influences along with exhaust from the Corvette Mako Shark concept.

Pricing will start at $250,000, and each car will have a 17-digit US VIN.
