The name was given to 911s with unimaginable performance in their time, making the “Yellowbird” famous, and continuing to show the results of the 911’s incredible potential, but things evolved with the introduction of the CTR3.
Introduced in the 2000s, the CTR3 showed a different, mid-engined version of the car, with RUF making it its own car and giving it world-beating performance, including a top speed of 233 mph, which increased to 236 with the introduction of the CTR3 Clubsport, which was introduced in 2012. Now, a new chapter has opened, and that is of the new RUF CTR3 Evo, which features a changed design as well as revolutionized performance.
