The Rolls-Royce Phantom receives updates and improvements as per customer requests.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom defines itself as the epitome of luxury for the U.K.-based automotive brand, with now eight generations acting as a historic timeline that tracks its continuous progression. Rolls-Royce Motorcars is proud to announce the Phantom Series II, a new chassis that features adaptations and upgrades to the current eighth-generation Phantom. After its initial debut in 2017, Rolls-Royce began to enlist the help of owners to gather information on how to further improve the experience of the most recent Phantom update. In answer to these client demands, only the lightest of design touches, embellishments, and adaptations have been incorporated into the newest release from Rolls-Royce Motorcars.
The exterior updates of the Rolls-Royce Phantom begin at the iconic Pantheon Grille, which includes its own LED lighting system and a new polished horizontal line that runs above its daytime running lights. The headlights also receive an artistic visual touch with intricate laser-cut bezel starlights, an aspect that ties into the Rolls-Royce Phantom’s commanding presence. The side profile of the vehicle retains its iconic short front and long rear overhang while emphasizing its size with gentle curves and elegant lines. Along with subtle exterior highlights, Rolls-Royce adds a new set of 3D-milled stainless-steel wheels with triangular facets, paying homage to the brand’s original wheels from the 1920s. While the construction of the exterior remains the same, Rolls-Royce clients are now able to further customize each build with new paints and finishes that completely change the aesthetic of the Phantom’s appearance.
The Phantom’s magnificent interior remains almost unaltered. The steering wheel has been made slightly thicker, providing a more connected and immediate point of contact for the owner/driver. Rolls-Royce also adds ‘Rolls-Royce Connected’ into the interior to send an address directly to the motor car from Whispers, the Rolls-Royce private members’ Application, providing seamless navigation to an event, restaurant, dealership, or even the Home of Rolls-Royce itself. The technological upgrade also displays the vehicle’s location, security status, and current ‘health’ condition. At the touch of a button, the owner can contact a preferred dealership for any servicing requirements or information about the car.
Rolls-Royce Motorcars celebrates the all-new Phantom Series II by commissioning a bespoke ‘Phantom Platino’ using its custom division, a special build that commemorates the silver-white finish of the precious metal, Platinum. Needless to say, we are excited to see some of the head-turning Phantom Series II configurations rolling off the Rolls-Royce Motorcars production floor.
