McLaren Automotive has announced a new entry in their Ultimate Series at the Pebble Beach Concours during Monterey Car Week 2019. The full design of the new model hasn’t been revealed yet, but McLaren customers were able to see a design rendering. One design aspect that McLaren did divulge was that it is a roadster.
Utilizing McLaren’s carbon fiber construction, the British automaker says this will be their lightest car ever produced. Taking advantage of the weight advantage is a version of the same twin-turbo V8 engine found in the Senna.
The unnamed model will be limited to just 399 examples and will be priced between the Senna ($958,966) and Speedtail (around $2.5 million).
