The Freak X Collection by Ulysse Nardin highlights the Swiss watch manufacturer’s quality and attention to detail, which allows for unique design opportunities. Ulysse Nardin is proud to announce its release of the new Freak X Marquetry, a limited edition boutique example bathed in a mosaic of colors. A new revelation in the world of watchmaking, silicium marquetry involves assembling slivers of silicium cut into segments with a plasma accelerator. The 43mm titanium with blue PVD case houses the one-of-a-kind matte blue dial, creating a visual contrast with the green “X” in silicium marquetry. The dial also features a clear view of the flying carrousel self-winding movement, which provides a 72-hour power reserve and 50-meter water resistance. A sapphire open case back gives a closer look at the inner workings of the Freak X Marquetry, while the outer portion of the case is engraved to signify the special release. Ulysse Nardin equips the new luxury example with a large-scale blue alligator strap with a matching titanium buckle.
