The new 2022 Audi R8 V10 Performance RWD has just been unveiled as the replacement for the original R8 V10 RWD model. Powering the new model is the naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine that how its power output increased by 29.5 horsepower and 7.3 lb-ft of torque for a total of 562 hp and 406 lb-ft. This power allows the new Audi R8 to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds (3.8 secs in the Spyder) and hit a top speed of 204 mph (203 mph in the Spyder). Being a RWD model, cornering in this new RWD R8 will naturally be fun. In fact, Audi notes that it will be able to perform “controlled drifts” when in Sport Mode. When it comes to its looks, it now features a matte black grille and comes in ten color options (the only paint mentioned was Ascari Blue Metallic). The 2022 Audi R8 V10 Performance RWD price is set at €149,000 (around $172,000 USD) for the coupe and €162,000 (around $187,000 USD) for the spyder.
