Since then, the Italian automotive manufacturer has worked with marine and motorcycle experts to reimagine the multi-mullion dollar Sian in two new forms. While Tencomar unleashed the Lamborghini 63 Motor Yacht to tackle the open waters, the professionals at Ducati were developing the limited-edition Diavel 1260 Lamborghini for the two-wheel market. The livery of the superbike, green and gold, comes straight from the example Lamborghini used to reveal the new model. In fact, the paint on the bike is the same as found on the supercar– Verde Gea and Electrum Gold. Ducati even went as far as to design the rims after the Sian FKP 37’s wheels and the resemblance is uncanny. For the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, Centro Stile Ducati redesigned quite a few details. These changes are all made of carbon fiber and include the radiator covers, air intakes, silencer cover, spoiler, central tank cover, seat cover, front and rear mudguards, dashboard cover and headlight frame. Not only does this material look great when bare, it also allows the bike to shed some weight.
Powering the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini is the 1262cc Ducati Testastretta DVT. This engine is capable of producing 157 horsepower and 9,500 rpm and 95 lb-ft of torque at 7,500 rpm. When you combine this power with a dry weight of just 485 lbs, this bike features a recipe for the perfect ride on or off-track.
