In a new video, McLaren asks people who are central to its history, including racing drivers and experts, what makes a McLaren “1” car.

McLaren has confirmed the name of this newest addition to its ultimate supercar legacy: the W1. With its October 6 reveal, it will celebrate the 50th anniversary of McLaren winning its first Formula 1 Constructors’ World Championship, as well as its driver at the time, Emerson Fittipaldi, winning the Drivers World Championship in 1974.
