Every year, the watch world gathers in Geneva, Switzerland, the mecca of haute horology, for the biggest names in the industry to debut and showcase their newest models at Watches & Wonders. Keeping all of the bold new looks under wraps proves to be a challenging yet rewarding week for watch brands as the community of collectors and fans gives their best guesses at what’s to come for 2025. Well, Rolex came out swinging this year at Watches & Wonders with a jaw-dropping lineup of 2025 watches that welcome an all-new model as well as vibrant touches on some beloved classics.
While the Daytona Cosmograph, GMT-Master II, and Sky-Dweller received bold new dial designs that are sure to strike up conversations, the Land-Dweller made landfall as the newest and most contemporary addition to the collection. For those with a more refined and elegant look, Rolex introduced a solid 18k yellow gold version of the coveted 1908, along with a Red Ombré dial 18k yellow gold Datejust. The theme of color continues with the second variant of the left-handed GMT Master II, which keeps its black and green “Sprite” bezel while adding a bright green dial to the mix. Last but certainly not least is the iconic Oyster Perpetual and its fresh looks featuring four new pastel shades: muted lavender, warm sandy beige, and fresh pistachio green. Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller
Rolex introduces the Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller, a fresh take on integrated bracelet watches with bold design and advanced engineering. Available in 36 mm and 40 mm, it features a newly designed Flat Jubilee bracelet that seamlessly blends with the Oyster case. The honeycomb dial pattern adds texture, while the bezel options include fluted designs or diamond settings. The lineup includes a white Rolesor Land-Dweller 40 with a fluted bezel, an Everose gold 36 mm version with diamond hour markers, and a platinum Land-Dweller 40 in Rolex’s signature ice blue. With 32 patents, 18 exclusive to this model, the Land-Dweller reflects Rolex’s commitment to pushing watchmaking boundaries while maintaining a look suited for any occasion.
Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona
The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona gets a fresh look with a turquoise blue lacquer dial and black subdials, set in an 18k yellow gold case. The black Cerachrom bezel keeps its signature tachymetric scale, a nod to its racing roots. It’s fitted with the flexible and comfortable Oysterflex bracelet, secured with an Oysterlock clasp. Inside, the calibre 4131 movement, introduced in 2023, powers the chronograph function along with standard timekeeping. With its refined finishing and smooth performance, this Daytona balances sporty function with a bold design that stands out whether on the track or off.
Sky-Dweller
The Rolex Sky-Dweller now comes with a bold bright green dial, paired with a Jubilee bracelet known for its comfort and flexibility. Originally designed for the Datejust in 1945, this five-piece link bracelet adds a classic touch to the 42 mm watch. Inside, the calibre 9002 movement, introduced in 2023, powers an annual calendar, dual time zone function, and smooth timekeeping. The case, crafted from solid 18k yellow gold, is built for everyday wear and water-resistant up to 100 meters (330 feet). With its mix of practicality and style, the Sky-Dweller is ready for any journey.
GMT-Master II
Rolex presents its first-ever ceramic dial, debuting in green on the GMT-Master II. The high-tech Cerachrom dial matches the lower half of the green and black bezel. The watch keeps its distinctive left-side crown and 9 o’clock date display, now available in 18 ct white gold. Like stone dials, the ceramic disc is mounted onto a brass plate for added durability. Powering the watch is the caliber 3285 movement, which handles dual time zones, a date function, and precise timekeeping. The new GMT-Master II comes with an Oyster bracelet and an Oysterlock safety clasp. Additionally, Rolex also revealed a special GMT-Master II in 18k Everose gold with tiger iron dial.
Oyster Perpetual
Rolex brightens the Oyster Perpetual lineup with fresh pastel-colored dials in lavender, beige, and pistachio, each featuring a matte lacquer finish. The lavender dial appears on the 28 mm model, beige on the 36 mm, and pistachio on the 41 mm, which also gets a refined case and a slimmer Oysterclasp for a more balanced look. Inside, the 28 mm runs on calibre 2232, while the 36 mm and 41 mm use calibre 3230, all offering precise timekeeping with hours, minutes, and seconds. With soft hues and subtle design tweaks, these new models bring a fresh feel to the classic Oyster Perpetual.
1908
Rolex debuts the Settimo bracelet, designed for the Perpetual 1908. The new bracelet is made of 18k yellow gold, featuring seven small, polished links that catch the light, giving it a sleek and elegant look. Inspired by vintage jewelry bracelets, it’s comfortable, gently hugging the wrist. The bracelet is attached to the watch with a special patented system and has a concealed Crownclasp for a clean finish. Paired with a bright white dial, 1908 is powered by the caliber 7140 movement, which keeps time with hours, minutes, and small seconds.
Datejust
Rolex is rolling out a new Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 in 18k yellow gold, featuring a bold red ombré dial. This design, introduced in 2019, now takes on a fiery red gradient, shifting from a bright center to a deep black edge. The dial is accented with ten diamond hour markers, and the bezel is set with 46 brilliant-cut diamonds. It’s paired with a President bracelet and a hidden Crownclasp for a sleek and secure look. Powered by the caliber 2236 movement, the Datejust 31 keeps time and displays the date. The 31 mm Oyster case is also waterproof to 100 meters (330 feet), making it both stylish and practical.
