The second member of the Hall of Legends receives a custom luxury SUV.
Over the years, League of Legends has not only helped define the MOBA genre of video games, but also become one of the largest presences in the world when it comes to competitive e-sports and gaming communities, with a legion of famous players who have earned notoriety with their incredible skill. Starting as an online game, League of Legends and its characters have taken part in music, TV shows, and celebrity partnerships, and one of the most notable collaborations the game has is its partnership with Mercedes-Benz.
The historic luxury car manufacturer has been a longstanding partner of the iconic video game, using its legendary G-Class SUV as the official trophy carrier for the LoL Worlds Championship, and gifting a custom Mercedes-AMG SL high-performance roadster to Faker, one of the world’s greatest League of Legends players who was the first inductee into the game’s Hall of Legends.
Now, the Hall of Legends has a second inductee, and that is Jian “Uzi” Zìháo, whose incredible career in the game has earned him a spot in the hall of fame next to Faker. As part of his induction, Mercedes-Benz has gifted him an individualized example of its new all-electric version of the G-Class, the Mercedes-Benz G 580 With EQ Technology, and also has created a custom artwork, depicting him with his new car in his hometown of Shanghai to celebrate his addition to the Hall of Legends.
The vehicle, customized through Mercedes-Benz MANUFAKTUR, is finished in MANUFAKTUR Kalahari Gold Magno, with special details like engraved Hall of Legends lettering, making the electric luxury SUV the first of its kind in China. Continuing an incredible partnership that was first forged in 2020, a second custom Mercedes-Benz comes with the second inductee into the League of Legends Hall of Legends.
