Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations has partnered with another of England’s most heralded brands, Holland & Holland, to create an iconic new vehicle designed for luxury in outdoor pursuits. According to a press release issued by the marque Nov. 6, The Holland & Holland Range Rover is “the most expensive Range Rover ever.”
An exclusive line that will only see 40 units produced a year for a three year period, the Holland & Holland Range Rover is set to reach a new standard for luxury in the outdoorsman’s world. Founded in 1835, Holland & Holland is England’s premier creator of bespoke guns. As their website describes, “from 650 to in excess of 1000 hours will be invested in the making of every single gun.”
Holland & Holland and Land Rover are both among the approximately 800 individuals and companies holding a Royal Warrant, meaning they “have supplied goods or services for at least five years” to the households of the royal family according to RoyalWarrant.org. Each has earned the monarchy’s seal of approval, and will do so again with this extreme performance vehicle.
The range offers a choice of two powertrains, either the 339 ps 4.4-liter SDV8 or the 510 ps 5.0-liter V8 Supercharged, and features the unique Holland & Holland Green on the entirety of the exterior, from the mirrors to the grille. The interior was designed to accommodate a luxuriously adventurous lifestyle, with reclining rear seats, integrated USB charging sockets and a stunning combination of tan and espresso leather hides.
A single piece of walnut measuring 1500 mm long by 500 mm wide was used to create each veneer within the car to ensure every detail is perfectly matched, and features the stunning embroidery and acanthus scrolls that define Holland & Holland’s historically beautiful designs.

Of course, the true sign of this special design is the aluminum loadspace cabinet designed to hold a pair of Holland & Holland shotguns. Espresso Alcantara trim coats the interior and a debossed Holland & Holland logo sits on the front, and in case there is a need for extra stowage, the case can be removed and brought inside.
