The madman from Texas, John Hennessey, has proved once again that his creations perform well-beyond the limitations created by auto manufacturers. In a 2015 Hennessey HPE750 Supercharged Mustang, professional driver Brian Smith drove to a top speed of 207.9 mph. To witness the event was Jay Leno, who was filming the occasion for an upcoming episode of Jay Leno’s Garage. Smith accomplished the feat at the high-speed oval located at the Continental Tire Proving Grounds in Uvalde, Texas.
