Hennessey has broken ground on a major expansion at its Texas headquarters to keep up with rising demand for its hypercars, muscle cars, and high-performance trucks. The $15+ million project will more than double the size of the company’s facility to over 100,000 square feet, allowing production to increase to around 2,000 vehicles a year. Scheduled to open in spring 2026, the new space will also bring painting and composite manufacturing in-house, streamlining the process for builds like the Venom F5 hypercar and upfitted trucks such as the VelociRaptor 1000 and Venom 800.
The company has been steadily growing its output in recent years. After building and delivering over 560 vehicles in 2024, Hennessey expects production to reach 900 in 2025 and more than 1,300 in 2026. The expansion will also add up to 80 new jobs by the end of 2026. Along with the factory growth, Hennessey’s Tuner School, a program that trains technicians in performance engineering, will gain its own 10,000-square-foot building, giving students more space for both classroom instruction and hands-on learning.
Based just outside of Houston in Sealy, Texas, Hennessey has grown from a small performance shop into a global name with over 18,000 customers. Its vehicles are available through a network of Ford, Ram, Chevrolet, and GMC dealers, where buyers can purchase upgraded trucks and SUVs directly off showroom floors. With this new facility, the company is preparing to keep pace with demand while continuing to build the vehicles it has become known for.
