It’s easy to scare people when the truck packs an insane amount of power.
Hennessey Performance’s Mammoth 1000 is regarded as the world’s fastest and most powerful truck. It claims this title by being capable of producing 1,012 horsepower and a 0 to 60 mph time of just 3.2 seconds. Those are straight-up supercar numbers. To make the Mammoth 1000 possible, Hennessey takes a new Ram 1500 TRX and upgrades the pants off of the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine, as well as a multitude of other modifications. Naturally, this truck is quite popular and the list of more than 100 orders for the truck proves it. Recently, one of the first customers got the chance to go to Hennessey’s headquarters in Texas and was given a test drive in his truck.
