Watch Hennessey’s New VelociRaptor 400 Bronco Dominate The Desert

Despite its name, the VelociRaptor is no dinosaur.

Hennessey has always specialized in taking our favorite cars to their absolute full potential. The new Ford Bronco is no exception. As an icon in the off-road world, the Bronco on its own is a great looking and highly capable off-roader, with a drivetrain, design, and features dedicated to those who seek adventure. With a Hennessey makeover, however, the VelociRaptor 400 Bronco is so much more.

Hennessey took the Bronco’s 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 and upgraded the exhaust and air filtration to bring it up to 411 horsepower and 603 lb/ft of torque. And on top of that, the body receives upgrades with new lights, badges, and 18-inch wheels and 35-inch off-road tires, which help the VelociRaptor 400 grip any surface and tackle any terrain.

Hennessey took the VelociRaptor 400 Bronco out for a test drive in the desert, where they were able to use all of the Bronco’s off-road prowess, and Hennessey’s formidable performance upgrades to thrash the car across the sandy landscape, kicking up sand and leaving clouds of orange dust in its wake, and traveling with ease and comfort over the rocky surface. With only 200 VelociRaptor 400 Broncos being made in 2022, there are certainly going to be more people who want this car than can get their hands on one.
