How does Hennessey make the Venom 1200?

Based on the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, the car already comes with an incredible 5.2-liter supercharged V8, putting out 760 horsepower and 625 lb/ft of torque, but Hennessey takes that performance several steps further. With a larger 3.8-liter supercharger, high-flow induction system, new fuel rails and injectors, an air/oil separation system, and upgrades to the transmission and powertrain, Hennessey’s upgrades are able to bring a 58% increase boost in the factory engine output, coming up to 1,204 horsepower and 902 lb/ft of torque.

How much does this upgrade cost?

The upgrade is priced at $59,950, which doesn’t include the base price of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, which you’ll have to factor in. The car is calibrated and tested by Hennessey at its facilities, and Hennessey is confident enough in its workmanship to provide a 1-year/12,000-mile warranty. Only 66 examples of the Venom 1200 will be made worldwide, with unique badging and serialized plaques, and you can order one either through authorized Ford Retailers or directly from Hennessey. This is a muscle car like no other.
