Right off of the heels of Aston Martin releasing the new 2018 Vantage, the English automaker has also decided to show the world the new Vantage GTE race car. This new race car was developed alongside the road-going Vantage and has already undergone 8,000 miles of testing that includes two tests lasting 30 hours. Looks like it’s ready for any 24-hour race. Powering the car is the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine found in its street-legal brethren. However, the powertrain, chassis and aerodynamics have been greatly altered to make it a much more race-ready car. Expect to see the new Vantage GTE taking part in the 2018 WEC.
