Earth Day makes for a perfect time to start down a serious path to sustainability for Aston Martin.

Green has always been a symbol that means it’s time to go. And Aston Martin has decided to use that signal to go green as a brand. The new strategy, called “Racing.Green.” lays out Aston Martin’s journey towards all-round sustainability. The brand aims to achieve net-zero emissions according to the Science Based Targets initiative’s Net-Zero Standard, with goals to make its manufacturing facilities net-zero by 2030, and net-zero emissions across the entire supply chain by 2030.

Since 2019, Aston Martin has used 100% renewable energy in its UK manufacturing facilities, but Racing.Green. takes this effort much further, targeting reduced water consumption, an electrified vehicle lineup starting with the Valhalla plug-in hybrid that will be complete in 2030, leather-free vegan interiors, and other initiatives that holistically improve Aston Martin’s environmental impact. This Earth Day marks the start of a new race for Aston Martin, and knowing the brand, it’s sure to reach the finish line.
