You may think driving an Aston Martin is cool, which it is, but what about flying an Aston Martin? To help us find an answer, Aston Martin has revealed the Volante Vision Concept, a luxury concept aircraft. This new concept was created in cooperation with Cranfield University, Cranfield Aerospace Solution, and Rolls-Royce.
Up to three adults can fit comfortably inside the Volante Vision Concept, which was designed as a near future study concept aircraft. It can fly autonomously through the utilization of a hybrid engine. One of the most noteworthy aspects about this aircraft is that it can take off and land vertically. With these vertical capabilities and hybrid engine, this aircraft is perfect for city air travel.

“With the population in urban areas continuing to grow, congestion in towns and cities will become increasingly demanding,” says Aston Martin President and CEO Dr. Andy Palmer. “We need to look at alternative solutions to reduce congestion, cut pollution and improve mobility.
