In the past, the only way to experience rear-wheel drive in an R8 was in a few limited models. But thanks to overwhelming demand by their largest market, U.S. buyers have received RWD as its own new series.

To celebrate, 30 coupes were finished in Panther Black crystal effect by Audi Exclusive. In addition to unique trim inside and out, the interior is black and red leather. Buyers will also enjoy a diamond-stitched Alcantara headliner, racing seats, and active exhaust. The latter can be activated on the steering wheel, allowing the panther to scream. The V10 offers 532 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque through a unique suspension.
