Audi A6 E-Tron Concept Revealed in Shanghai

A glimpse of the new A6?

Could we be on the verge of a new era in Concept Cars? China has a serious pollution problem, and that is why the Audi A6 e-tron Concept was revealed in Shanghai. Starting with a new chassis, it rides on their upcoming Premium Platform Electric (PPE). This will allow Audi to not be reliant on the Porsche Taycan’s underpinnings. Motivation comes from 469 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. This should make it comparable to the new Audi RS6 Avant for sale.

Compared to a 2021 production A6, only the exterior dimensions are shared. Their new metallic paint is known as Heliosilver. It was mixed to accentuate the body lines while offering the most heat insulation. This allows the A/C to work easier, and consequently, extending the car’s range. The low and wide body cuts through the air with a Cd of 0.22, to give the car an estimated range of 435 miles. Another goal is to reach 62 mph in under 4 seconds on a consistent basis.
