The new Audi A6 Avant combines luxury and practicality for the future.
Many automotive enthusiasts champion station wagons, an underappreciated body style that few car manufacturers still champion. Audi is one of those manufacturers, and it recently unveiled its new A6 Avant, a new generation of its iconic station wagon model that combines luxury with the practicality of a station wagon. Expanding on the qualities of the previous generation, the new Audi A6 Avant features mild hybrid technology, air suspension, all-wheel steering, and an impressive drag coefficient to evolve a celebrated model.
Introduced with a four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, as well as a six-cylinder turbo gas engine, both variants of the new A6 Avant feature mild hybrid technology that allows for reduced emissions, and limited capability for fully electric driving. Air suspension and available all-wheel steering offer superior comfort and driving agility, while luxury and practicality are provided with ample space, station wagon cargo capacity, Bang & Olufsen sound, optional four-zone climate control, and more.
With a revised design and new, innovative features throughout, the new Audi A6 Avant will start to be delivered to customers in May 2025. Available first in the European market with a starting price that roughly equates to $62,000, hopefully the sharp luxury station wagon makes it Stateside.
