The four rings are shining bright!
What once was old is new again, as Audi previews their future in Shanghai. Yesterday the world was treated to a sneak peek at what they are working on. We already covered a few of these earlier this week, so what you might not know is their return to exclusive, high-roller sedans. The four rings on the grille of each Audi for sale represent four automakers that were consolidated to make the brand.
Audi’s predecessors are DKW, Wanderer, Auto-Union, and Horch. The last one is rumored to return next year to rival Maybach. Audi is a rough Latin translation of the German word “horchen” that means “to listen” so kick back and listen to what they have in the pipeline for the next few years and stay with us for all your Audi news.
