Audi continues on a successful and transformative path as a manufacturer.

As the automotive industry reaches a turning point and begins to transform towards electrification, Audi is one of the manufacturers that is leading the charge. With a large and yet-growing lineup of electric models, and a promise to have a 30% electrified lineup by 2025 and full carbon neutrality by 2050, Audi is at the forefront of a new chapter in automotive history. While it may be a bold move to move towards electrification so quickly, it has proven successful as Audi has recently enjoyed quarters and periods of successful financial results, and the third quarter of 2023 is no exception.

This past quarter, Audi is happy to report that its year-to-date sales improved by 26 percent compared to 2022. Within the quarter itself, the improvement was by 21 percent. However, electric models took center stage when it came to Audi’s success this past quarter, with sales success in the name of a year-over-year improvement of 93 percent, meaning that sales of Audi electric vehicles in Q3 2023 nearly doubled in comparison to Q3 2022.

The future is exciting for Audi, despite the farewell of cherished models like the R8 and TT making this year bittersweet for Audi fans. However, the continuing sales success of Audi’s growing all-electric lineup is proof that once those models are introduced, they are going to be just as iconic, celebrated, and important to automotive history going forward.
