Bentley Officially Enters a Sim Racing Championship

Bentley Motorsports has officially entered the sim racing arena. The automaker will be taking part in the SRO E-Sport GT Series, a six-round series that’s being put on by organizers who have held many of the manufacturer’s real-world GT3 races. So, you know they have experience in motorsports. Bentley will have entries in the ‘Pro’ class race and ‘Silver’ class race. The Pro class is meant for real-world racers, while the Silver class is for elite sim racers. One fun tidbit about all of this is that Bentley is actually making the 2020 works team livery available for all Assetto Corsa Competizione racers today.

“We are working closely with our partners at Kunos, the developers of Assetto Corsa Compeitizione, to ensure we are prepared for the season ahead and are talking to professional sim racers who can not only represent us on track but can also assist our real-world racers with in-game set-up and racing style,” said Bentley’s Director of Motorsport, Paul Williams.
